The Communications - Corrections section consists of an Administrator, Jail Programmer, twenty full-time Dispatcher/Jailers and a Transport Officer.

Communications is responsible for all emergency and non-emergency requests for police, fire and ambulance services within Hubbard County. For non-emergency assistance from the communications staff call (218) 732-3331. The Sheriff’s Office provides a toll-free number (1-888-732-3332) for areas of the county which require a long distance call to the office.

Corrections provide intake and processing for all persons (adult and juvenile) arrested and detained in Hubbard County. The Hubbard County Detention Center houses all inmates held pending trial or disposition by the Court and all inmates sentenced by the Court to incarceration of one year or less. The Jail also provides housing for inmates on Work Release (Huber) and Sentence to Service.

    Corrections also provides secure transports for criminal offenders and for those persons committed to state/private institutions by the Court.

    Fingerprinting is provided by Corrections for those persons who may need them for licensing or other purposes. For information or assistance regarding fingerprinting you can call the jail at (218) 732-3331.
