For emergency assistance always dial 9-1-1

Reminder: If your conversation can begin with "This is not an emergency"; you should not be using the 911 line,
but should be calling 732-3331!
You could be preventing someone with a real emergency from getting help!

Northern Substation
Farden Township

Visiting Hours:

Sunday 1:00 PM - 3:30 PM

Tuesday 1:00 PM - 3:30 PM

Thursday 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM

The Hubbard County Detention Center uses a video visitation system for visits between inmates and the general public. Contact (face to face) visits are not permitted. Visitors check in at the Central Control window on the north wall (on your right as you enter) in the outer lobby of the detention center.

If you would like to leave money for an inmate use the kiosk located in the outer lobby. The Hubbard County Detention Center kiosk will only accept cash. If the kiosk rejects your cash detention center staff will not accept money for inmates at the window.

You may also put money on an inmate’s account at www.inmatecanteen.com.

Visiting Rules:

Visitors must provide a valid photo ID before being allowed to visit.

Visitors must be on the inmate’s visitor list in order to visit. Minors must also be on the visitor list but can be listed on the same line as the adult parent or legal guardian.

Visitors with alcohol on their breath or seemingly acting under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be allowed to visit.

Visitation will be denied if Detention Center staff has reasonable grounds to believe the visit may endanger the safety and security of the Hubbard County Detention Center.

The only item that you may drop off at the detention center is prescription medication and eyeglasses. Medication must be in the original packaging with the inmates name on it and must be current.

No one under the age of 18 will be allowed to visit unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Visitors may be subject to a pat search and if necessary a strip search or search with a metal detector. Refusal to submit to a search will result in the denial of visitation.

Visitors that have been incarcerated in the Hubbard County Detention Center within the last 30 days will not be allowed to visit.

Dress Code: Hubbard County reserves the right to turn away any visitor not dressed in appropriate attire. Appropriate attire is:

  • shirts that cover the entire torso with sleeves.
  • pants
  • shorts and skirts that are no more than 6 inches above the knees.
  • shoes

Children must be in the direct observation and control of parents at all times.

Hubbard County reserves the right to terminate visitation privileges for disruptive activities. Visitation may be cancelled due to emergencies within or outside of the Detention Center.

Inmate Property

The only property that will be accepted by detention center staff on behalf of an inmate is prescription medication and eyeglasses and clothing appropriate for release and work release. Property left at the HCDC will be disposed of 30 days after release.

Prescription medication will only be accepted if the medication is in the original packaging (no pill boxes) and the inmate’s name is on the packaging. The prescription must be current.
