Partial Payments

Did you know that we accept partial payments on both current and delinquent taxes?
A person making payments should be aware that the due dates still apply and that any portion of the tax not paid by the due date is subject to penalty.
The only restriction is that the amount being paid must be sufficient to cover the costs of any penalty, interest and costs due at the time of the payment.

Now Available - Hubbard County Tax Statements

NOTICE:
The Treasurer's office is receiving a number of tax statements and valuation notices back from the post office because they are undeliverable.  This could be because a forwarding has expired or a new address was not given the county.  If you have not received your statement please contact the Treasurer's office to check if it was returned to them by the postal service.

The payment of taxes is not affected by the failure to receive the tax statement.

In January 2003 the treasurer’s position became appointed in Hubbard County and in January 2004 the auditor and treasurer departments were combined and are now under the direction of one manager.

The treasurer is responsible for keeping a complete accounting of all monies collected and expended by all the county departments. This includes the investing of available funds and accurately distributing the interest received.

The department prepares and mails over 23,000 tax statements for real estate, personal property, mobile home and several mineral interest taxes. The department is also responsible for the collection of taxes and distribution to the various taxing entities within Hubbard County.

Due to the combination with the auditor’s department, the Treasurer’s department will be assisting with various duties both in the auditor’s department and the license bureau as scheduling permits.

The License Bureau is under the direction of the auditor/treasurer. The license bureau issues driver licenses, marriage licenses and passports. All liquor related licenses are also handled by the License Bureau. The number for the License Bureau is 218-732-3426
