Notice of Public Hearing

                Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Hubbard County Board of Commissioners on December 2, 2014, at 12:00 p.m. in the Board Room 324, on the third floor of the Hubbard County Courthouse in Park Rapids, Minnesota, for consideration of the Hubbard County Shoreland Ordinance No. 17, proposed Amendment #17.

                A copy of the proposed Amendment #17 is available by clicking on this link or during regular business hours in the following departments located in the Hubbard County Courthouse, 301 Court Avenue, Park Rapids, MN  56470:  Land Records Department – Environmental Services located on the second floor or the Coordinator’s Office, located on the third floor.

The Environmental Services Department administers the following ordinances: Shoreland Management, Subdivision, Subsurface Sewage Treatment System, Sign, Adult Use, and E911, and is responsible for the County’s geographic information system (GIS) services.

In doing so, we are responsible for the issuance of all required permits, processing of variance and conditional use applications, inspections of sewage treatment systems, proper subdivision and/or platting of land, and maintenance of the County E911 system and tax parcel map.

Environmental Services is located on the 2nd floor of the newly remodeled courthouse at 301 Court Ave. Park Rapids.
