Failing Septic System Upgrade Grant for Low Income Households


Hubbard County Environmental Services is pleased to announce that it has $33,418 in new grant funding available to help low income households upgrade failing septic systems. Since the grant program began in 2013, $91,017 has been given to help sixteen households upgrade their septic systems. Homesteaded single-family homes and duplexes with a failing septic system that are not in a stage of foreclosure are eligible. Annual income limits are $66,650 for households of up to four persons and $88,000 for households of five or more persons. Applications will be accepted on a first come, first served basis and can be obtained at the Env. Services office or on the Env. Services page of the County website (www.co.hubbard.mn.us).
