Do you want to make a difference right here in Hubbard County? The Hubbard County Board of Commissioners will make an appointment of an individual from either District 1 or District 4 to serve on the County Extension Committee at their April 4, 2022 regular meeting. The appointment will be made for the term ending December 31, 2025 and may be extended for additional terms. The Hubbard County Extension Committee partners with University of Minnesota Extension staff to connect community needs and University resources to address critical issues in Minnesota. The Extension Committee meets quarterly at 6 p.m. in the Extension Office in Park Rapids. Committee members support County Extension programming in three main ways: ¨ Identifying local community needs and Extension resources, Those persons interested in being appointed to serve on the County Extension Committee may submit their names, address, contact information, and a brief summery of themselves and how they can contribute to the committee to the County Board for consideration. All names should be submitted to Jeff Cadwell, the County Administrator, 301 Court Ave, Park Rapids, or jeff.cadwell@co.hubbard.mn.us, by 4:30 p.m., Friday, March 24, 2023.
